    Another gunner that can't read.

Maybe you should stick to linking some raw data and trying to draw experimental data from it. At least then you were funny.

    Gosh darn those damn facts

According to Senator Feinstein, so-called assault weapons have been used in 385 murders since the AWB expired in 2004, or about 48 murders per year. But there were 8,583 total murders with guns in the United States in 2011, meaning so-called assault weapons were used 0.6% of the time.
Well holy hell. We need to get us some laws on the book that would effect tens of millions of gun owners because of 0.06% of the criminal population.

What does 0.06% of the criminal population total in our actual total population? Let me know when you are done putting in all those zeroes after the decimal. I'll wait right here.

Incoming mental gymnastics about how this is irrelevant.

There's enough hand waving in this thread to make a gentle breeze.
Have you seen the suicide rate in Japan?(24 suicides per 100,000, 30,000 suicides annually ) Do you know how many guns they have?(Sportsmen are permitted to possess rifles or shotguns for hunting and for skeet and trap shooting, but only after submitting to a lengthy licensing procedure. Without a license, a Japanese citizen may not even hold a gun in their hands.) People that wan't to kill themselves will do it with a gun or without. "Japanese who decide to end their life chose jumping in front of a train, hanging, medication overdose, leaping off a high building or the latest craze -- using common household products to create the poisonous gas hydrogen sulfide."

That's certainly the conclusion that people who argue for those numbers being included seem to be going for.

You do own guns and they are unregistered. Do we have to link where you talk about this? Or were you lying when you said you owned unregistered firearms that were handed down to you?

    No, I don't. Try again.

And keep condoning felonies and blaming races while you're at it.

What the heck is a "unregistered" firearm?

That has to be a state regulated thing. (California?)

There is no such thing as a firearm registry on a federal level.

Do you even know what tenses are? This is like, 4th grade grammar.

So if I understand you correctly. You're saying you did own unregistered firearms but no longer have them?

You've been defending a felon this whole thread. That's when you're not being a racist.

Agreeing with someones opinion on a topic means you condone everything they do in their private life?

Some states require you to register your weapon with law enforcement.

Rukentuts, if you got rid of your rifle and shotgun, why wouldn't you just say so? Makes us wonder if perhaps you gave them to someone without doing a background check on them.

Maybe you should analyze it with some raw data, after you read the thread.

Did you guys know that 100% of people who commit mass murders are mentally ill?

Or that, oddly enough, mass murders happen in gun free zones?

Columbine, Virginia Tech, Aurora, Sandy Hook – the only thing these murders have in common is that they were supposedly “gun free” zones.

    wtf

    /mind blown

Did you know that suicide gun deaths are much more common then homicide gun deaths? Probably because those people are also mentally ill.

Did you know that higher ownership of guns corresponds to a higher rate of crime? Because we have already proven that too.
