I'd be surprised if they did. The trinkets didn't upgrade in Cata that I can remember. I still purchased a 359 Tsunami for my resto druid as late as 20% DS

Didn't happen in wrath or cata so not sure why they'd do it now.. Can you upgrade them with Valor or JP?

I'd agree with Darsithis. They never upgraded the Cata darkmoon cards so i really doubt they would do it this time around. At least in this expac you can upgrade darkmoon trinkets with your valor points
So maybe the answer to your question is, kinda? lol

Darkmoon Trinkets are only really good for gearing up. There easily replaceable even in the first tier of an expansion.
I don't always hunt things, But when I do, It's because they're things & I'm a Bear.

Not Completely true :P The darkmoon trinket is BIS for a lot of classes all the way up until heroic mode replacements.
