    Which 7970 to get?

Hey everyone, I'm in the market for a 7970 but I'm kinda stumped as to which one to get. I've heard that the gigabyte one is voltage locked and I'd like to OC the card, but I'd also like to hear from people who have a 7970 and what their recommendation would be.

Not sure if all 7970s are like this but my Radeon HD 7970 has a pretty tiny margin for where the clock speed can be turned up (~200 mhz) and can't turn up the voltage at all.

Same. The Asus 7970 seems to be voltage locked. Kind of annoying. I thought I had found a workaround with a version of GPU Tweak but a Catalyst update put a stop to that.

You should get the ROG Matrix version, from ASUS. Best single GPU out there in my opinion.

Well even with the pathetic overclock its still strong enough to run anything at max settings at 1920x1080

So I guess it could have been worse.
