Bye bye Dark Millenium RPG or DoW 3 or any other 40K game... O well, we all knew it would come to this.

I hope that their CEO and upper level executives will be ok.
To all people who pirated Darksiders II:
YOU SUCK!
:/
...and there goes my hopes for the 40k MMO

not really following why you would state this. upper level management is usually the ones who end up with a cushy severance pay/bonuses. i would be MUCH more worried about the lower level workers jobs. this is indeed sad news though.not a lot of companies get out from bankruptcy.

Can't say I'm surprised as their market cap had dwindled away to almost nothing over the last year. I think it was down to something like $3million. And they had that dirt cheap firesale of THQ games recently on Steam as well...
in reality the gaming industry has barely felt the 'recession'
the entertainment industry as a whole has done great
you will go without food before entertainment. chapter 11 is protection, doesn't mean they're going under, but the best selling games aren't good games, they're games for people who don't take gaming very seriously. that's where the money is being made, shit that you can pick up, play 30 mins, put down, etc
they're not really a media for telling a story anymore. it's secondary to the point they serve nowadays which is killing time
most gamers would make games i'd love to play, but games that would never pay the bills. it's sad but how it is.

think it was sarcastic
God damn it. I was really hoping I wouldn't see this, THQ have made some of my favorite games of all time, warhammer 40k games amongst them. I guess this puts my hopes of a Darksiders 3 firmly away D:
The Stick of Truth was going to be published by THQ.
This means no Saints Row 4?
Does that mean no dark Millennium?

Sad to see a company like that go down...
Me not happy
Why do all the decent companies have to go and not EA?? This stuff gets me so mad.
