Problem with the laptop

So yeah a friend of mine bought me a VAIO Laptop E series or whatever this; Everything seems to be going well until I turned it off one night and turned it back on the next morning to have the fan on it go super wild upon boot up where it loads and turn off 2 times in a row before I did alt cntl delete to reset in addition to removing the power plug that charges it. After the reset it didn't do the super fan wild thing turn off thing ;/ so I'm trying to understand since I'm kinda scared haha

Is the fan like defective or what is my battery messed up? The hell happen.

- It's a completely new laptop like directly bought from the store and given to me haha
