I imagine the answer to this question changes based on the age group being polled. However, the Internet hate you see typically comes from males between the ages of 13 and 20. Why? Because Justin Bieber is rich and famous and quasi-talented and can have any pussy he wants on the whole of the planet. Teenage boys do not like this.

The whole "people are jealous cuz he's rich and can get pussy" argument is pretty ridiculous. There are tons of people out there who meet those criteria that people don't hate.

Now as to why people hate him, I imagine there are plenty of different reasons. For me, it is his look plain and simple. He reminds of those child actors that get famous when they are young and have that perpetual snotty look on their faces. Honestly I think fame at too young an age ruins a person. Whether or not he is like that privately, I don't know and could care less, but he certainly gives off that vibe.

I'm hardly jealous of him, he's not a true musician is the reason I hate him. He can't play an instrument, nor does he write/sing good lyrics. I'm not jealous because, well, I'm way more talented than that piece of trash, considering I play bass and write fiction. I also doubt that his IQ is very high, so his worth doesn't exist.

Justin Bieber has in no way, shape or form influenced anything in my life in the slightest. I don't listen to his music because it is not my thing. I don't hate him, nor do I hate anyone who chooses to listen to and enjoy his music. People like to hate things because they're popular.

The only thing more annoying than a massive, screaming fan base is larger masses of people crying about it.

A lot of it is probably just people jumping on the bandwagon of not liking something instead of actually having a reason. Having a reason doesn't mean regurgitating why others don't like it either.

Initially it was the bandwagon which made the topic catch my attention of something I previously ignored. I find my general dislike from irritating music and general feeling of his success being far over rated. They are my own personal opinions. I do feel a bit worried about his somewhat obsessive fan base of young girls. It also reminds me of the double standard that takes place where it is okay for girls to behave like such and yet is looked down upon for boys to do the same.

It's just that he has so much 'swag' (Want to hit him in the face with a bat covered in barbed wire everytime I hear that word). I think majority of people just jump on the bandwagon's of hate these day's, but this guy really does deserve alot of it.

That's kind of silly. To say he doesn't have talent is pretty short sighted. He just doesn't have the kind of talent that YOU apparently think is important. Ok you play bass and write fiction, he is internationally known. Are you? He is talented enough to get into that position.

Now as how I feel? I don't really care about him one way or another. The fact is he IS a talented singer and performer. The fact is, also, he is a product of music by committee. The junkie, soulless music that is designed to appeal to the most as opposed to being quality music. I don't dislike him so much as i dislike what he represents.
