You'll be better off just buying a new comp, that comp isnt worth upgrading. Whats your maximum budget?

Yeah I was thinking that was the route to take because I know this hunk o junk isn't good by any means and I'll slowly start buying the parts to build a new computer I just cannot afford a whole new one at the moment due to just having to pay my school bill and whatnot! My max budget at the moment is a couple hundred dollars.

Have a look through the Marest's Sample Builds thread and pick whichever setup is within your budget.

I was going to recommend a graphics card, but the Athlon II 160u seems to be an extremely weak processor.

Whats your full budget and your 'current budget'?

Your upgrade should proceed according to these steps:
    1) CPU+Mobo+RAM
    2) GPU
    3) Case/HDD/Optical/OS

If your full budget is $800 or more, you'd go with an i5-3570K build:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($214.99 @ Amazon)
    Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4-M Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($129.99 @ Newegg)
    Memory: G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($34.98 @ Outlet PC)
    Total: $379.96
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

If your full budget is $600, you'd go with an i3-3225 build:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

    CPU: Intel Core i3-3225 3.3GHz Dual-Core Processor ($127.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: ASRock H77M Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($69.99 @ Newegg)
    Memory: G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($34.98 @ Outlet PC)
    Total: $232.96
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Both builds have Intel HD 4000 as integrated graphics so WoW will be playable without a graphics card. You'd upgrade graphics later.

I actually got a Geforce gtx 650 2g GDDr5 graphics card from my girlfriend for christmas so the thing I would need most would be a CPU because mine is quite terrible correct? Also any decently priced reconmendations?

take yuranos 2nd build, use your 650, use the 500gb hdd, optical drive and case for the new parts, add in something like an XFX Pro series 450w $52 and if you dont have an OS Im hoping by school you mean college you can use microsofts student plan to get a copy of windows for like ~30ish bucks.
