What to upgrade first?

I have the 489 Lei Shen's Final Orders, and Relic of Xuen.

I already upgraded my Shin'ka, but also have a 489 Elegion which is not upgraded because I havent gotten my hands on a second 1H weapon worth using..

So should I upgrade a trinket, or Elegion for in the future...

Any advice would be appreciated :P

If you plan on switching to SMF, save your valor and upgrade your 1h's first, then trinkets.

Don't upgrade non-bis items except if it is compulsory for your raid progress. So skip your Elegion upgrade and focus on your 1h loot.
You can (if you stack too many VP) upgrade your Relic of Xuen which is a bis
