Hand of Freedom does not benefit from Shatter

It means frost mage loses almost all its burst.
i have a feeling they gonna make mages a sustained damage crowd control class in 5.2, all subject to change of course.

Basically any mage that directly hits your deepfreeze will remove it. Meaning you better use glyph and stack your spells on it intelligently to do any decent burst.

All Mage damaging spells have their crit chance multiplied whilst Frozen (FoF/Nova/Pet Freeze etc) thanks to Shatter, so anything that can damage can now break Deep Freeze; just like Frost Nova.
