I had a little "situation" regarding my guilds raiding involving Christmas.

I've created calendar invite for our raid on 24th of December starting at 20:00 (our usual raid time) and got surprised seeing myself and 2 more accepting where rest of my raiding team declined (10 man).

I got pissed on them, and I've demanded the answers why they can't come since Monday was our usual raiding day and a day where we managed to do most of our progress.

One of the declining members asked me

"Dude, 24th? Are you insane?"
"Is there an issue with it? It's a freaking Monday, and none of you missed it since we started raiding in MoP?" I asked
"But won't you spend that night with your family? Dinner and stuff?" he answered.
"Is there any particular reason for that? Since, it's Monday? Beside New Year is in 6 days still..." I was stubborn.
"But man, it's Christmas Eve... what would your family say if you spend it playing WoW?"
"Sorry man, I'm Muslim and I've totally forgot about it."

Just after that it came to my mind. The two who accepted it were my IRL friends who are Muslims also.

With brief apologies I've changed GmotD and wished Merry Christmas to my guild members before, embarrassed, logging out.

Good morning and Merry Christmas!

I haven't opened all of my gifts so far-- in fact, a guildie mailed me a surprise present that I've yet to open, but it came with a really sweet "Still flyin' <3" message, so it might be Firefly-related... but it might not! Driving me crazy.

So far, though, I got a $25 RP card for League of Legends, a Cinder Kitten, a Razer Naga Epic, some shirts and jeans, one of my other guildies farmed up the tokens to get the Sumprush Rodent crate for me in-game, and I got some chocolates as well.

Really, for all the things I've been fortunate enough to get this year, the fact that my 85-year old grandfather was well enough to come and spend the holiday with us, the fact that I get to spend today with my family and my boyfriend of 6 years, and the fact that my guildies thought of me on the holiday mean more than anything else.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day, whether they're celebrating Christmas or not!

I got some money, a pair of new jeans, candies, cookies, a bracelet, a onezee pajama, a pokemon toy and an Egyptian cat statue. My husband got some tools and money. He already bought a new sub-woofer and mousepad while I'm going to save to buy a 3ds.

I don't expect much for Christmas but i'm overhwelmed so far!

Was given over £300 in money/gift vouchers
A gorgeous Lush Gift set
A set of WoodWick Candles in Christmas fragances
A set of 4 beautiful Tall glass latte mugs complete with long spoons for having hot chocolate!
A bottle of my favourite perfume (Gucci Rush)
Lots of little fancy lip balms/puzzles
2 Cook Books
A kitty table calendar
various chocolates!

(oh and I got a Samsung Galaxy S3 a few days before xmas from my hubby)

And my mum and sister have still to come over! Seriously overwhelmed this year, such thoughtful gifts, and I appreciate them very much.

Me too Lush is totally...well Lush! haha. It's always such a treat just walking into one of their shops, the smell hits you way before your even near the store hehe.
