Someone reported your post on the Blizz forums. A Blizzard CM/Moderator looked at it and responded.
That happens here too. Every post that gets reported will at least get looked at by a moderator and sometimes multiple moderators be they on page 1 of a thread or page 87.
Don't get reported. And if you do, don't have anything in your posts that is against the rules.
"...money's most powerful ability is to allow bad people to continue doing bad things at the expense of those who don't have it."
I stay far, far away from the official forums. The whining is stomach churning.

And people use "hater" where it fits. Or would "Passive/aggressive, timid person that doesn't stick up for themselves when they should irl, using the anonymity and safety of the internet to let out all of their pent up nerdrage from not sticking up for themselves, while trying to make everyone believe that they aren't miserable, negative people." work better?
"Do you think man will ever walk on the sun? -Ali G
I have only seen it used by the Zealot fanboy cult aimed at anyone who says anything bad about wow.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hater
People need to stop using the word hater the wrong way1. hater
A person that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.
Hating, the result of being a hater, is not exactly jealousy. The hater doesnt really want to be the person he or she hates, rather the hater wants to knock somelse down a notch.

You already posted the answer to your question. The mods aren't insane but did what they are supposed to do. You discussed deleted threads and that's against the forum rules. I assume that these 6 threads that you were watching had more or less the same topic and I'm sure there was at least one other thread with the same topic. Having multiple threads about the same topic is against the rules and these threads will get deleted. If the topic in itself is against the rules the first thread with this topic or the one with the most activity will get locked or deleted depending on the topic.
Just read the rules and you'll get an idea why the other threads got deleted and if threads got deleted there's a reason for that and as the rules say you're not allowed to ask why because that will start a new discussion about the same forbidden topic.
The fact that your vocabulary is say, 'limited', does not mean that the rules do not apply. There are no exceptions for the 'verbally challenged' people out there and they are judged by the same standards as everyone else...

i used often the word fuck on those forums. just never bypassed the forum filter so you would see %^$&##% stuff.
i got a ban a few days ago for posting : go die in the fire
the OP made a post about classic realms -_-
7 day ban! it ends on the 31th lol
its been called harrasment. ye right. after 31th when some1 post about classic realms again ill will post the same thing with a disclaimer below it :P
1. Point... non-constructive posting... Violation..
You agree... nice.. Then put a sentence or two in addition as to why you agree.
2. Point.. necroing is not allowed anywhere in all of the forums. Doesn't matter if it's a main category or a realm forum.. It's all the same forum, everything in there are just sub forums.
I once got a 72 hour ban for literally nothing. No really I hadn't posted for two weeks on the WoW forums and then logged in one afternoon to answer a Paladin question and it told me I had been suspended for 72 hours for spamming. My initial thought was that maybe I had been hacked, but then I remembered I had an authenticator, and if someone had managed to hack me they sure as heck wouldn't of only been doing it to spam forums.
Anyways, I never did get a reply with them, nor any form of example of what I said to get. The only other thing I could figure was that maybe they were trying to get someone else and got me accidentally instead.
Someone has to report you !
Some get their kicks reporting posts that break the rules.( self apointed forum police.)
This is why you can see other posters getting away with it, because maybe someone has a grudge against you.
A lot of the rules are open to interpretation, so depending how the moderator feels at the time can determine your ban length.
When you have 3 bans it becomes permanent.
didn't ask what happened to them just noticed they were gone and made a comment on it.
---------- Post added 2012-12-27 at 08:13 AM ----------
problem is I've seen every reply in a thread reported before just because someone didn't like the subject even though there was no way they could be against the TOS.
---------- Post added 2012-12-27 at 08:17 AM ----------
the thread I was posted in was on the same subject as the deleted ones (was not a necro or anything of the such), see people post the other threads are gone all the time (most of the time it's to say they posted a response in the other thread but it's gone now) and not have their post disappear (and that's all I did was noticed they were gone)
Are you fucking serious? Mate I'm a law student. Saying my vocab is stunted is like saying a fish cant swim. Don't be an overbearing asshole just because you don't like the way some people speak.
Yeah, that's the thing; the bloody word was censored out anyway, yet I still got the banhammer.

Agreed. I made comments from a George Lopez monologue while discussing the show in off-topic section, and am now permanently banned. I send an email to wowreported once in awhile and ask them why a comment about a show on a public station was so horrible. Ah well. Considering the scope of most of the threads there, they probably did me a favor.
I called a cat gay because it stunned me twice in a heroic and posted an @day thread in the warrior forums when swifty crashed his server, permbanned. happens.
If you are going to post to the wow forums and don't want to be banned, you must thoroughly enjoy being politically correct. I.E., acting like an adult, and being mature, even though you have no tolerance for anything.
welcome to the internetDon't be an overbearing asshole
if you ever wanted to know if you were wrong about anything and everything, the internet is glad to tell you that you are.
It is where you go to find out that two plus two technically does not equal four.
Yeah, I miss the days when people were tougher and less likely to wimp out and use "I'm offended". When arguments and name calling meant something lol. Now if you get less than PC, you find yourself permanently exiled and wishing you could find the person you offended and offend them in person... repeatedly...
I got my first account perma banned on their forums during vanilla for posting porn. Was just a text I found on the net saying I'm giving up everything and join the peoples liberation army and fight for freedom and stuff. At the end posted a pic of a guy in the middle of some topless chicks with guns. I even appealed it, saying I'm european and that hardly counts as porn but it didn't help. Was well worth it though.
Would not have bothered me much I suppose it if was something blatantly obvious. but again seen stuff like "I posted it in the deleted thread" or "those threads are gone now" and never giving it a sec thought, wondering if one of the mods got coal in the old stocking and was just in a bad mood.
