Considering transferring from mal'Ganis to illidan (Horde).

Been sitting on Illidan for a bit in trade chat on a level 1 toon and it seems the raid pugs and chat is just overall a bit more active than Mal'Ganis. Just wondering if anyone has done the same and can provide some input. I'm a raider and sitting at 492 ilvl (Tank) so findind groups won't be a problem. I've checked the wowprogress stats and all of that already. MG is ranked at #3 and Illidan is at #1 so going anywere else would be a step down.
