Recently we lost one of our longer-tenured raiders due to RL changes that made it so he could no longer raid our times.

It's always hard to find a replacement for someone that has been with the guild for 3 years, but we are now opening recruitment for the following:

Disc Priest with Shadow Off-spec.

You will be the #3/4 healer in our raid, occasionally doing heals on bosses that require more healers or disc excels at which right now is many, on fights where it doesn't you will fill the shadow off-spec DPS roll.

Our current raid comp in MoP:
1: MT - Protection Warrior
2: OT - Guardian Druid (Boomkin offspec) (You)
3: MDPS: Deathknight (Blood offspec)
4: MDPS: Paladin (Holy offspec)
5: MDPS: Rogue
6: RDPS: Mage
7: RDPS: Warlock
8: RDPS: Shaman (Resto offspec)
9: RDPS: Hunter
10: Healer: Holy Paladin
11: Healer: Holy/Disc Priest (Shadow offspec)
12: Healer: Resto Druid (Boomkin offspec)

We try our best to keep raiding time equal amongst all raiders, this tier we averaged 78-88% play-time for all raiders. The players who received the most playtime were due to only having 3 healers, which will be fixed in our MoP comp.

Raid times:
Tuesday: 8-11 EST
Thursday: 8-11 EST
Monday: 8-11 EST

Nine hours total.

What do we want from you?
We aren't looking for a raid leader by any means. We have plenty of personalities in the guild that are capable of that role. We want someone who shows up, doesn't clash with the members of our raid already (Which is really hard to do, we are all VERY laid back), and plays at an exceptional level at all times.

We will look at your achievements, logs, alts, and have a trial run doing clearing 9/16H.

We are looking for a player with close to the same progression as us who is able to step in and excel at their role. We do not recruit to bench as we rotate on a boss to boss basis. If you are interested please apply.

How do we run our guild/raid?
We expect raiders to be online at 745 EST ready for invites, and we almost never go over raid time, I think the latest we have ever gone was 11:10 EST. We have an alt-raid that runs on Wednesdays from 8-11 EST, but attendance is not required.

The average raider in our guild is 24 years old (ranging from 21-32), male (surprise, surprise), loves drinking, and generally has other real life commitments such as career/family that make it non-viable to raid much more than 9 hours a week consistently. We don't take raiding too seriously, and as long as you can take CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, you will fit in easily.

We are NOT a guild to join if you LOVE doing old-content, achievements, or anything of that nature. We have a couple of raiders who do that sort of thing, but the majority of us do not care. (See: My 5420 achievement points) We will do "Glory of the (whatever) raider" once or twice, but we will not push to do achievements of that sort until we have cleared the tier.

We use a very basic /roll system for loot, with a bias toward tank/healer upgrades at the beginning of any tier. We also provide flasks/gems/enchants/repairs/food for all raiders.

Our history
We have been together since Burning Crusade. Originally we were on Archimonde under the name "Voodoo", after tiring of recruiting people to 25 man on an effectively dead server, we transferred to Stormrage and converted to a 10 man guild in the middle of Firelands.

We always strive to be the best, and have always been in the top 250-400 ranking of US guilds every tier*. That's pretty good for a 9 hour raid week.

*: Except Firelands, we sucked that tier with the server transfer.

TLDR: We want a badass Disc Priest with an equally awesomeshadow offspec. We love beer, hate drama, and when we wipe, we always blame our shaman.
