    Skype Video Bandwidth Use

    I'm going to set my father up with a webcam to Skype with my sons, my main concern is he lives in the sticks and has a crappy DSL connection.

    According to speedtest.net his download is 5Mbps and upload is 500Kbps.

    Anyone with that slow of a connection having issues with HD Skype?

    He should be good, my webcam looks fine with 0.5Mpbs upload speeds.
