Matilda was amazing (The tier 4 British), loved that tank. The armour it had was equivalent to the hull armour of a KV-1.

And the gun wasn't shabby either.

I didn't say they're bad, I do enjoy my Matilda a lot since I changed to the AP gun (was using the HE-only gun for some reason), was just commenting on how slow those things are. When the other team is playing defensive and I have to get across I feel like, by the time I get to the action, the game will have moved on from WWII to Vietnam.

Well I thought there is no hidden trick.. even if I wished there would, thanks for the advice though.

I already spent all XP for the upgrades of the tank im using, so I guess its time for crawling together all the XP I can get.

the trick is to play more and win more ^^
I have bought JS-4, JS-7, E100, E50 Ausf.M, and KV-5 earned me all the creds required.
(and JadgE100 and T62a unlocked, not to metion "lesser" stuff)
but I have already almost 19k battles played

I'm pondering the idea of setting up a clan for people of lower tiers, every clan I want to join or play with requires at least T7 SPG's and aboce or T9 other type tanks and above.

Some form of newbie clan for EU/UK would be awesome.

Wow, I've been playing WoT on and off for over a year now and not until tonight did I even know there was a WoT thread in these forums. Okay granted it looks like it only started at the end of last year but still nice to be able to talk about the game on a forum I've been browsing and participating in for many years since my old WoW days.

What is it, exactly, that clans do in WoT, anyway?

As far as my knowledge goes clans in WoT are like guilds in other games. Its a place you can gather with your friends and play together etc in clan battles. Im not certain but im sure being in clans will allow you to participate in larger platoons as well. Currently you can only make a 2man platoon if you are on a free account and 3man platoon if the platoon leader has a premium account. To play in larger groups you would have to be in a clan (which im guessing requires you to have premium as well). Clans also can fight over strategic parts of the Northern Europe/Russian, North African or Mediterranean battle maps to control zones for prestige and possible bonuses to their clan.

Just got BL-10 for my ISU-152, FUCK YES! Is really all I can say about that.


The gun, is, amazing.

just you wait till you get Object 704!
it is where BL-10 really starts to shine due to faster reaload AND aim, not to mention Object itself is faster, and has better armor, angles and turn speed.

And games with arty partys, tier 10 tanks and you never see lower lvl tanks any more . Isu-152 is more fun due to a better MM.

Hello.

I was recently introduced to World of Tanks by my cousin, and I'd like to say that I'm absolutely having a blast.

So I thought I'd come by and share some thoughts.

First of all, the game is really epic, it got me hooked, and I'm currently working on getting various tanks from 4 nations: U.S.S.R, USA, UK and Germany.

I'm really spending all my time just playing the game, because you cannot get bored, always different battles, different tactics, and It's fun to upgrade your tank and watch it do its magic.

Second, I just heard that the same company that made World of Tanks, is currently working on 2 games of the same type: World of Warplanes, and World of Warships.

I honestly cannot wait for these 2 games to be released aswell, giving the thought that World of Tanks is currently so epic.

Here's the paragraph of what some developers said:
The MMO war series: World of Tanks, World of Warplanes and World of Warships, will soon unite to create the ultimate gaming universe gathering millions of players into a single community of war gamers. Common economics will allow the transfer of resources between all three games. A single global map will gather tankmen, pilots and mariners under a common tussle for world domination.

So I cannot imagine how epic will it be.
