Oh ya, it'd be really nice if they could add scenarios for low levels. It'd bring more options for new characters. It'd be like: quests, dungeons, scenarios, battlegrounds and collect ores/herbs.

Maybe make it like AV. Mobs HP and damage would be based on your group's level.

They are nice addition to the game. Blizzard just need to improve reward a bit more.

Maybe if scenario's gave 80 valor I would consider it, right now there's no incentive to run them and if you get theramore's fall you could've done 2 heroics in the time it takes to clear that shithole.

Getting really tired doing Scarlet Monastery for the 100th time, release some now heroics instead of scenarios PLEASE.

They are probably very cheap ways to reuse art assets. Notice that every one of them is in some place that also exists in the "real world".

    IMO yes

They should be lore packed things ran by the Keepers of time for ones based on past events, and just other ones tied into current things.
Could also do with better rewards and better play. Actually give some objectives that are fun besides escort/protect/kill make it seem like you're actually doing something of importance besides protecting people making beer.

Scenarios are great because you don't have to wait 20-30 minutes in the queue as a DD only to find that your tank and/or healers are complete imbaciles and/or get on each others throats from the get go, forcing you to queue-dodge and getting a 15 minute deserter-debuff after which you need to queue for another 20-30 minutes . . .

Also, only having 3 players greatly increases your own value in the group, making sucess a lot easier as the contribution from your other teammates is severly lessened.

All of that is great, but it goes back to the point of Scenarios being irrelevant gameplay that only the serious causaul would use; aka people who only login for < than an hour per day.

I use it every day since it is the fasted 40 valor you can get in that amount of time as a DD, I don't really get what's "meaningless" or "casual" about it.

Why do you think that? They are the best way to get the VP cap for me. I can easily finish most scenarios in less than 6 mins while in a dungeon it takes like 15-18 minutes.

And what this guy said. Instant queue is awesome (even though my pally is prot main spec).

In my personal opinion, yes. I honestly never queue for scenarios anymore because having just two other anonymous people pushed into a group with you while requiring very little conversation and the "group quest" contains very little if any interesting lore (especially the pre-5.1 scenarios) essentially makes it a nearly worthless waste of my time.

If they had much more cinematic driven "Wrath Gate"-style scenes or were stretched out to five people and communication was needed, then I might care. Hell, make the random chest have 497s on its loot table and I'd queue once a day, regardless of the above statement of opinions.
Soothing Mist:"Healing them for a minor amount every 0.5 sec, until you take any other action."
Jade Serpent Statue: "The statue will also begin casting Soothing Mist on your target. healing for 50% as much as yours. "
    [What's half of minor?]
"Statue casts Soothing Mist at a nearby ally for toddler healing."

Scenarios would have been more interesting if they were more massive. Say, 40 people, doing the PvE equivalent of a battleground.

Something like Rift's zone events, only instanced.

Given the fact that the 5.1 scenarios are *incredibly* superior to the 5.0 set, I really see no reason to complain about them other than the "i like to complain about everything, pay attention to men"

I love scenarios! The more, the merrier.

  15. #35
Most of my guild doesn't bother with them. Myself and mebe 4-5 others have been doing them fairly regularly. They're a very easy, very quick & fairly relaxing way of filling in 40vp a day. They have the (unlikely) chance of very good loot compared to their difficulty (definitely worth it for alts). They're enjoyable variety.

There's a lot more that could be done with them, but they're a great start which a lot of people haven't fully appreciated yet imo.

i have to agree, im fine with pvp being in game, bgs duels so forth but the constant changes made for arena sake is just a ruining for the game, would rather imbalance pvp than to constantly have my favorite specs/classes/spells nerf'd just cause mages wanna cry...

    This.

Transmog gear, Rare Mounts, Hidden Pets, Or even Rep Tokens, Valor Points, (Elder Fortune Tokens)

If they were smart they'd do all of these at once.

SOMETHING to make it a practical alternative to dailys.
