    SUF Question

    Hey guys!

Working on my UI I've hit a brick wall with SUF - I'll show you.

This: http://www.flickr.com/photos/78739005@N04/8336582235/ is what I want my TargetFrame to look like.

When I target things however, I get some screwing around with the text that makes it look like the following two links:
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/7873900...n/photostream/
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/7873900...n/photostream/

I basically just want the texts to grow out from the right side of the TargetFrame.

i'm guessing this is being caused by where the text originates from, or where it is anchored: anyone got any suggestions, I've seen UI's where they were able to do a similar thing right, so I don't think it's impossible; just need some help from someone who has worked this addon before.

Also right now I'm using PhanxBuffs, but it's not very customisable: aside from SBF, are there any good suggestions? Bison isn't working well anymore =/

I am not sure what you are trying to do. In those 2 examples the names are appearing correctly starting outside of the target frame and expanding left. Isn't that what you want it to be ? The Npc name is just too long, that's why it occupies space from the target frame. If you don't want that, go to the text tab and reduce the characters shown in unitname.

I'm not too sure on your Suf problem. I personally don't like Suf, I find it really clunky to set up and not really all that customizable. I would suggest trying Stuf unit frames. No stupid anchors for text, just x,y values, justify(left, center, right). Overall better IMO and I believe lighter too.

As for buffs. I would suggest Raven 10000x a day to anyone, any day of the week. It's pretty amazing and powerful.

I'd like them to expand right - how do I change that?

As I mentioned above that I prefer Stuf unit frames vs Shadowed unit frames so i can't test this(not sure if it even has the options) but try looking for anything that will "justify" or "align" text to the left so it expands it to the right. Stuf IMO are better unit frames and lets you place anything anywhere you like with justify + aligning options.

I guess you anchor it to bottom left in your target. Try to anchor it to a point that it expands right and move it horizontally to the spot you want. Despite the x,y factors seem to scale only to 5 you can set a higher value than that. At least that works for the font size.
