What they fail to realize is that the other metas are still superior.

Obviously it depends on the proc chance and ICD, but from a healer perspective i'd much rather take a heroism or barkskin over 3% more healing.

Those metas currently say they require item level 502, whilst tyranical Gear is currently only 496. Depending on the item level of the Elite Tyranical gear, it may not even be usable in PvP gear. That's a 488 Resilience and 668 Power loss if you chose to use a suitable PvE healm to use the Meta in... it might still be worth it though. Ugh.

It's such an overpowered proc. Heroism is so strong for certain classes and you could use your cooldowns around it. The same with the melee damage proc, depending on how good the damage is.

Also, your point about iLevel is correct. But if item upgrades are brought back in, you could upgrade and then use the meta or as you said, just use a PvE helm and drop a gems worth of Resilience and PvP Power equivalent to 1% healing.

Considering it's an PvP gem with only PvP stats they can easily adjust it to make it stronger if too many people are using the PvE one. But thank god I don't have to raid to get the gem.

That's some time away, considering 5.2 hasn't even launched yet. Plus, if Blizzard has any sense left at all, PvP gear upgrades will never return.

they will return they have said it will return and the reason it will return in 5.3 is because PvE will get new drops and/or upgrades to fill the gap of no tier gear as its not a raid/new season patch so we will see upgrades again in 5.3 which at least gives you more incentive to continue farming pvp in various ways if say your already up there with the best or where you want to be rating wise (again rating is subject to changes to the system ofcourse)

i do not think the 30% buffs will be active in pvp outside of RBGs/randoms and world pvp as its too strong.

They are removing it for 5.2 so unless you can obtain that high of an ilvl in this patch then you're shit outta luck.
