Defense of the Alehouse (New DotA styled BG in 5.2)

A new DotA-style Battleground has been datamined in the PTR and will likely be introduced in patch 5.2.

Now that I see Defense of the Alehouse and DotA at the same time I finally see it... Guess DotA might be coming to WoW, I hope so at least. Not that I do PvP much, but it sounds nice. =P

They've mentioned they plan to release it asap but they also said they haven't set a date for it yet because the tech required for it isn't complete. I don't think this confirms it for 5.2, but "soon" if anything. This is the first BG in a long time I'm really looking forward to.

This. Especially considering how it was SUPPOSED to be in Azshara crater. Looks like it might have moved to the border between Townlong and Kun'lai.

I don't think anyone would mind there being a bg on the old continents.

It doesn't matter. They could use a different word and still get Dota.

For example. "Defense of the Aspects"

They would be better off not even using the name "Dota" if they are thinking of going with "Defense of the Alehouse".

I doubt it's coming in 5.2, more likely they're just putting what they have done in to be ready for 5.3

im curious how its gona be entered, will it be a new wintergrasp/tol barad, may a cross realm version of those, will it be a normal bg maybe 15man, or will it be a completely new way to play like what they want to do with their dota in SC2
