[Tech Advice] How to Uninstall WoW

WoW doesn't show up in the control panel add/remove programs list. I originally downloaded the game from the blizzard website.

I just deleted a folder labelled "Blizzard Entertainment" and yet I can still log on and play the game.

When I search my C drive for "World of Warcraft" the only items that show up are shortcuts of the WoW icon.

    Any advice?

Try downloading a 3rd-party remover like Ccleaner, and uninstall WoW from there.

go into programs and find the WoW folder with all the game data and delete it, you dont really need to do the traditional uninstal with WoW.
You can actualy stick it on a portable drive and just copy the contents to any computer and play from there if you wanted.

By default for Windows, it's installed in your \Program Files\World of Warcraft.

There might be an uninstall.exe in there, or you can try a third party software to remove programs, or just delete the folder from there.

It's self-contained, so just deleting the folder should pretty much remove it.
