    Opinions on Elections...

Very often in movies and television (here in the United States) we romanticize the concept of more honest elections and or more transparency. While it might have been talked about before, this is more specifically targeted to those who live in similar countries.

While I know the information is out there, if voting records of those running for office were circulated in a mass available form, would you as a potential voter care more about investing time into their record history or still form opinions based off of debates and or the news media dissecting things for you?

Also, would you support an initiative which required those running for office to be required legally to hold up to their campaign promises? IE, if they said they were "pro life" they would be legally bound to vote against any abortion bill.

The government should represent everyone as best it can, so that's a no to your second question.
"In order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must be intolerant of intolerance." Paradox of tolerance

I would say no to the second question as well. Good questions anyways.

Seems ill-conceived. Most likely wouldn't work at all.
