Why isn't Four Rooms on this poll?

  2. #22
May not have been the director for this film but screenplay wise: "From Dusk Till Dawn" hands down for me. The opening in that film alone is worthy of 5 stars.

I actually think that True Romance is his best film ever, but he didn't direct nor cast himself in that though. Tony Scott, RIP, did, and it's amazing. Out of the ones he directed himself though, definitely Pulp Fiction, followed by reservoir dogs, followed by Jackie Brown; all three really good but in that order.

Four rooms, by far one of the craziest and best commedies of all times. No idea why it's not mentioned here!

I'm guessing 4 rooms isn't mentioned because it's not a 100% Tarantino film, he wrote his 1/4 and the rest of the film was other people.

Same reason (I'm assuming) that things like Dusk Till Dawn and True Romance aren't mentioned, While Tarantino WORKED on them, they weren't Written/Directed by him.

Some people have even threatened to beat the shit out of Quentin because it was used so much in Django... Don't blame Quentin for wanting a movie to be as real as it can get in a movie (for theme and setting) Blame the way that people acted towards slaves years ago. Some people really need to stop getting offended over such stupid things.
Honestly I thought the word was completely appropriate for Django considering slave owners at the time did use the word nigger.

Slave owners along with basically everybody else at the time. I didn't find it offensive at all and don't see why anybody would. If it was used pointlessly that would be another story, but it was used for historical accuracy in this case. And honestly, I'd be a little confused if I didn't hear the word thrown around in such a casual manner throughout the movie. People are silly though, and they'll always find things to nitpick.

If I'd vote I'd most likely vote for Pulp Fiction since it's the only Tarantino movie I've watched and not found to be complete dog crap.

Can someone explain to my why you like his movies so much?
More than just awesome ultra violence and quotable lines. Monty Python has better quotable lines and there's better ultra violence.

Kill Bill vol 1 and 2 are the winners for me. The style, art direction, and writing of the whole thing are all top notch, as well as the action scenes. It's also in my top ten favorite movies list. Might rewatch both of them tomorrow. Also just reminded me that I loved the soundtrack, now I'm whistling that darn tune.

Pulp Fiction was good. The others aren't that special. Kill Bill and Inglourious Basterds are even plain bad.

Pulp Fiction is probably my favorite overall. I used to love Reservoir Dogs but it doesn't really do it for me anymore. Saw Django Unchained yesterday. I really loved the film, but using Leo in it kinda ruined it for me.

His movies are just one of those things that you like or you don't, I guess. I love them to death, personally. I am guaranteed entertainment no matter which movie of his I watch. That's why I like watching them. They're just fun to watch. Great action scenes, great dialogue. The characters seem real.

Pulp fiction is my favorite, with Django unchained coming in a close second.

It's the PC Club trying to shove their "don't be offensive" ideals up our asses. Hell, if the movie is appropriate for the time period, language shouldn't be an issue.
