How did my artist nominations not get in if the category wasn't full.
Serious question.

The categories with 5 nominations had a very wide range of nominations and many with multiple votes.

The categories with 3 nominations had a much narrower field of nominations and only a couple with more than one vote.

The Best Artist category had around 7 total nominations, 3 of which were bands that did not release anything new in 2012 or really do anything in 2012 besides a couple of performances or maybe a cover or two. And of the artists left, only Mumford and Sons and PSY had more than one nomination, and since I am OCD and want all the nominations in sets of 3 or 5 I cast my personal nomination for Gotye since I thought it was the only artist of the ones left that more than 1 or 2 people would actually know about.
