hello, im a 481 holy 473 shadow priest LF a serious raid guild. raid days and times are flexible. as long as they occur between the hours of 4pm-2am pacific time. currently cause of the holidays all im at for exp is 6/6 MV and 1/6 HOF. mostly due to the holidays and the server im on that lacks skill

What we value in a priest healer is versatility: are you willing to switch between Holy and Disc whenever it is beneficial for the fight we are on?

sure versatility is good and all, but who would be paying for the constant reforging? because disc and holy are complete opposites when it comes to itemization. so reforging from disc to holy atm is nearly 300g, same for holy to disc reforging, so in a night if i had to say switch to disc from holy say 4 times as a example, thats 2400g

We are a well-established raiding guild on its permanent home on Gul'dan (US-CST, Chicago datacenter) with the goal to be Top 200 US and server first in every raiding tier in MoP - we are interested in like-minded raiders. Class needs as of 12/24/12:
We have high needs for the following classes:
- Warlock
- Hunter
- Shaman(elemental, resto, enhance)
- Druid(resto, balance)
- Priest(heal)
We have medium needs for the following classes:
- priest(shadow), deathnkights(dps), mage, feral
It would be difficult for us to fit in another:
- rogue, paladin(ret, tank), monk(dps)
Because we recruit for the long term, we want players to apply on characters they enjoy playing most, not ones that temporarily fit our biggest needs.
Despite what our class needs may indicate, we always welcome all classes to apply or at least inquire if you think you might be a fit. We will always consider the most skilled, seasoned, knowledgeable players regardless of need, and often times needs can be filled in more ways than one so don't hesitate to ask.
Who we are:
* Dawn Eternal was founded in December 2004 (~3 weeks after WoW's release) with a focus on raiding endgame content and having fun.
* We value self-improvement and teamwork.
* We always recruit for the long term. We have the feel of a close community / family. We have a rank for full members to invite RL family & friends, and full members are allowed to keep the tag even if they can no longer raid.
* Our application period is not as short as most - we work with our apps to help them improve, and we value their attitudes, dedication, knowledge, and potential more than their gear, experience, or class.
* We run a very calm and comfortable raiding environment - "chill" - we prefer to use tells and channels to adjust and fix problems, rather than yell or openly chastise in Vent.
* Max guild level.
If you have the high playtime, skill, and desire to raid at high levels, and yet want to be with a very guild-oriented, stable group that has been around for years, we may be the guild for you.
Raid hours, attendance, and loot:
* We currently raid 3 nights: Tues/Wed/Mon; with the option of Thurs/Sun. Fri/Sat are always off nights. App invites happen around 6:30pm PST with members able to join a bit earlier. We go until 10:30pm PST and rarely go later.
* We ask applicants to commit at least 80% attendance to so they can be effectively evaluated. We are looking for people who can commit to this schedule in the long term for the entirety of the raid.
* We occasionally run member organized 10mans and achievement runs on non-raid nights.
* Loot in the 25-man's is distributed through a modified zero-sum DKP. Applicants immediately start earning dkp as soon as they start showing up for raid and dkp is retained through rank promotions.
The server:
Cenarius is one of the original Pacific-coast PvE servers, part of the Whirlwind battlegroup, and has majority alliance population although the horde have some very good raiding guilds as well. Naturally, there are a vast number of raiding alliance guilds on Cenarius, making it the ideal home if you are an alliance focused on raiding. Cenarius is home to Thott of Afterlife and was at one point home to Ciderhelm of Eventide and the penny arcade guys. It was the second US server to unlock all of sunwell. Even if we aren't the guild for you, your transfer wouldn't be for naught as there are many other competitive guilds on the server.

What's expected of you:
To have a complete MS and OS gear with appropriate gems, enchants, and reforges that yield the greatest DPS/HPS/Mitigation which includes 2 crafting professions...gathering professions are not acceptable
To earn Faction reputation with all groups that provide gear and patterns
Knowledge and competency of ALL specializations of your class and to keep up-to-date with the latest theory-crafting, which allows you to know and play the best specialization for each fight
To provide your own flasks, potions, and 275-300 food
Your complete and undivided attention and highest level of motivation for the duration of the raid
Near 100% attendance and to log in often...not just for raids. If you are going to be absent from the raid, you will need to let us know well in advance
To show up AT LEAST 15 minutes before the start of each raid to receive special instructions
To have knowledge of all encounters prior to the first pull during progression
To have the ability to accept criticism as criticism is important to progression
To be active on our guild forums
We want to provide the most enjoyable raiding environment for all of our players, work together as a team, and to have fun. Our main goal will always be to complete ALL current Heroic content and earn all associated achievements before each new tier of content is released. Upon acceptance to the guild, you will start off as a Recruit and begin a two week evaluation period. After the evaluation period, you are either (A) made a Raider, (B) be offered advice in areas that need improvement and will be granted an extension to evaluation, or (C) given a "no hard feelings" farewell. All players are welcomed to join, but those wanting to raid will be expected to perform at a higher level. We don’t intend to waste your time so please don’t waste ours.

<Livid> (lv25) was formed by 6 members and officers of a US 367 guild late in the cataclysm expansion. We founded <Livid> because we felt as though our old guild was becoming too casual and we were looking to maintain and expand upon our hardcore raiding beliefs. We are proud to have obtained 3 Server-Firsts during MoP Launch and wish to continue pushing raiding progression throughout this expansion. Weekly Guild Activities: Each week we have an Alt raid on Saturdays at normal raid time. We also have a Rated Battleground group that runs earlier in the day on Saturday. We have several inter-guild 2s, 3s, and 5s teams as well that go at various times. If you are a talented PVPer or enjoy raiding on an alt, we have activities for you! We also do challenge modes on Friday evenings when there is enough interest by guildees.
About us: We offer a mature raiding environment, with officers that have plenty of real life and in game leadership experience. We believe in pushing players to be the best they possibly can be without demoralizing them or putting them down. Min/Maxing is not an option for <Livid> players, but rather a norm. Attendance to raids is mandatory and non-negotiable. We use mumble exclusively because of the small benefit it provides in real world speech lag (it’s faster than Ventrilo). Raid Schedule:Tue/Wed/Thur. Raid Times are: 6:00 Server – 9:00 Server. With invites going out at 5:45 Server (server is on Pacific Time). Our Raid Times in Other Time Zones:

Our Server: Velen is a medium population PVE server with slightly more Alliance than horde (60/40). The economy is strong and AH prices are quite reasonable. Velen is in the New York Datacenter. Loot System: Loot Council with each raider getting a vote on who gets loot. The GMs make final decisions should there be a tie vote.This system has been a drama free loot system thus far. Expectations of All Raiders: Must have an exceptional understanding of your class and spec. Flawless raid attendance; raiding must be a top priority for you. We expect correct gemming, glyphing, speccing and reforging as well as the proper addons to manage your DPS/HPS/Uptimes, etc. We also require that your main raiding toon have leveled professions that are non- gathering professions. Pre-potting is expected on any boss encounter. Lastly, we require you have a stable internet connection and a computer capable of easily running World of Warcraft. We are an 18+ guild, prefer 25+. We do not allow trolling in trade chat or on the realm forums of any kind.
What we Provide to Raiders: Feasts are Free (You MUST level cooking in your main area pre-5.1 patch drop) Guild Repairs are provided and we provide potions and flasks when we can. We also provide all Enchants and have ALL MOP Enchants unlocked. Extra guild bank funds are used to purchase BOE weapons for raiders. Anything we can do with guild bank funds to improve our raid team is done.
