Dailies go by a lot faster if you are in a group, when I start them I do a /1(General) - LFG Golden Lotus Part 1 within a minute we have a full group and we go our separate ways so we all get credit.

Blizzard needs something that makes team work easier than just grouping, it's such a grind doing it on your own, the more people the better. Everyone should get credit for hitting a mob down 'X' %

You're completely entitled to your opinion, but those dailies saved the game for me. During 4.3 I got to the point where all I did was level alts and work on Molten Front because there was nothing in current content to do besides log in->raid->log out->wait till next raid. This is late 4.3, mind you, so we're talking two days a week at best.

I do hope it comes from the dailies, especially if it's a Flameward Hippogryph-style meta achievement. Having every new mount be a rare drop or a raiding meta would be kind of annoying.

Except this expansion has 50+ dailies which are optional and Blizzard has stated they made a few mistakes with them. Chores=Required.

A daily quest can be virtually any repeatable task, I think you'd be hard pressed to come up with replacement uses that aren't actually just dailies in disguise.
