What is the best tasting thing that you can eat from Wal-Mart?

My girlfriend took her mom to the hospital 5 hours ago, and still isn't back. I don't have my car, but I live next to Wal-Mart and since I don't normally cook I'm wondering what is the best thing I could buy to eat for dinner because I'm starving really bad right now.

If it has the supermarket part, you can't really go wrong with cold cuts.

Get sandwich fixings: bread, cheese, some kind of mayo or mustard, and some deli meat.

Or go for hot pockets. Perhaps a Hungry Man frozen meal? They're easy to pop in the microwave.

Walmarts usually have giant grocery stores attached to them..so anything you want really. If you're not a good cook then just save yourself the mess and get something frozen!

I wouldn't eat anything from there myself. Walmart food is gross.

I would go for fruit and stuff to make a deli sandwich if you want a quick meal.

Help me understand how their food is gross. Their generic brands may be or may not be under the control of Walmart (I'm not sure) but the rest of the grocery, including name-brand and most off-brand companies are those companies and are in no way related to Walmart.

Wal-mart has proper groceries now, so I'm sure you could find plenty of the things there you'd find at any normal grocery store. Wal-mart is just a big corporation, it's not literally plague-ridden.

Ya the only thing bad from Wal-Mart around here at least...is their self packaged meats like ribs, t bones, sirloins, etc...They are all too tough.

A lot of them have delis and stuff where you can buy fried chicken and sandwiches and other things they make right there in the store, that might be what he's referring to.

Sandwich fixings or something microwavable. That or find some noodles and spaghetti sauce. Boil water, put noodles in to cook, heat up the sauce, and BOOM spaghetti. Although I must admit, the fact that you have to ask this and you solely depend on your girlfriend to fix your food is quite concerning. You don't need to be a chef, but learning a few quick, solid meals to cook is just an excellent life skill to have.

Also yeah, that's kinda helpless! Learn to cook, it is one of the great joys of life. Or, failing that, learn to cook pasta. ;P

Look for vegetable samosas in the frozen section, small chance they'll have them, but they're the best frozen thing I've ever eaten.

Are you lucky enough to have a McDonald's or Subway in your Wal-Mart?

Better yet, does yours still have the Radio Grill, or whatever it was called? They had decent meals for cheap. Like, one thing they had, was a small pan pizza and a drink for $2.
