    By how much?

Simple answers? Yes. Because rating scaling and new spells and op level 80 items and exp requirements lowered.

Someone turn this into a 1 page paper, as per usual with simple answers on this site.

    ~33% I think, a large amount.

I can get to almost 84 just in Hyjal. Thats with doing a dungeon here and there.

To answer your question, OP, it did. I think I leveled my monk in a days worth of work (couple hours if looking at timed played or something). It flew by like nothing.

84 to 85 is half what it was. Not sure about the other levels.

Yeah the XP was nerfed 20-30%, I forget. Although 80-85 was always pretty dang fast.

    I just wish they'd reduce 65-70 and 75-80 :S

80 to 85 was suppose to be 33% but it seems to be a full 50%.
Soothing Mist:"Healing them for a minor amount every 0.5 sec, until you take any other action."
Jade Serpent Statue: "The statue will also begin casting Soothing Mist on your target. healing for 50% as much as yours. "
    [What's half of minor?]
"Statue casts Soothing Mist at a nearby ally for toddler healing."

Around 50 percent which is a lot. Wish they could ease TBC grind a bit.
I always spam-run dungeons whenever i hit Outlands because quests there are...ugh. Just UGH.
Grindy as hell, low droprates, CRZ and...giving LESS experience than Blasted Lands quests...

At least TBC instances are decent, lots of trash which gives a lot of XP.

Didnt had problems with 68-80 bracket, I did only ~75 quests in Howling Fiord and i was level 75 by then. Then some zuldrak, finishing with stormpeaks - 3 out of 10 zones visited, along with one dungeon of a kind (with quests giving 60k a pop there)

I did Hyjal up until the ´joust´ quest which I hate, then did Vash. you will get to 85 well before finishing Vash (a zone I enjoy)

Don´t forget to scan your AH for some of the new MOP rares, which have very low lvl requirements. Nothing like throwing an ilvl 442 weapon on your monk at lvl 81

Yeah, lowered about a third to a half depending on the level.

Holy fuck that's great news, got triple exp up until level 81 then a 50% nerf? OH HAPPY DAYS

  14. #14
    80-81 and 81-82 didn't change.
    82-83 and 83-84 33% xp less required.
    84-85 50% less xp required.

Got reduced significantly. Got my monk from 80-85 in less than 4 hours, whereas I spent closer to 12 during Cata.

Well if we have to speak honestely.. it was always fast.

Even on first day of cata where you could do 85 just by questing normally.

But yes it did get nerfed a lot unfortunately.
