Anduin's timeline in MoP...in jade forest that is

Hey all,

After leveling alliance and horde now through mop, I was a bit curious about something. What are the timeline of events (if known?) of the significant happenings to anduin in jade forest? How did he escape, or get rescued, from the horde after being captured? Maybe I missed reading something from the quest text (as I often do) but it just hit me that I didn't know exactly what happened to him at that point. Was it the big battle at the dragon statue? I would greatly appreciate some clarity from someone more lore savvy than myself.
