    What is your Nerd Rating?

So I was thinking, which is never good. And even though I dislike to popularization of Nerd Culture I do freely admit we have a Nerd Culture So I developed a List of Primary Topic which Nerds might do as hobbies or careers.

Using a 0-10 scale rate your self on these topics

Why is LARPing worth double points? Doesn't really seem fair to me.

No, LARPing is not better or worse than other hobbies.

This rating system sucks, perhaps you should explain more about how to rate oneself, or make it into a survey kinda thing.

How many Larpers do you know? Honestly they are such a specialized breed of nerd it is insane. They are also the most likely nerds to be in shape.

    43.
I have no tabletops nor cardgames, only an interest in comics.
The only nerdy things I like are Sci-Fi movies and such, and games when I need something to soak up my boredom.
Apart from that, I'm not nerd.
We stopped searching for monsters under our beds when we realized that they were inside us.

Tell me something, my friend. You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?

Being a nerd is tainted by pop culture. Even though i probably can be classified as such i wouldn't want to be associated with the scene. This is why only a few people IRL know i play MMOs, read Thrones, watch anime, etc.

    It is bad press.

I'm not into any of that stuff except for gaming so I scored pretty low (36). The only comic books I own, are the Walking Dead compendiums. Never been much of a nerd, I've always just loved video games.

Accidentally voted 'Not Really a Nerd' because I misunderstood the rating system at first. Still, it doesn't really surprise me, and neither do I mind being "Really Nerdy", it was a fun little test.

I was all about to be "omg way to make sweeping generalizations, not fair, I'm offended!"... and then I thought about it for a second and realized I can't refute any of that because in my experience you are quite correct.

118 points, but only I'm a LARPer myself :P (got 38 points in the LARP part..)
though I wouldn't say we're a special breed of nerds, and I don't really get why the points in this category are worth two times..

    edit:
damn it, got even more points, forgot to give 10 points for the programming part..

also, even seeing these points I wouldn't consider myself a nerd at all
