    Cheap options for Work-at-home PC?

Boyfriend works from home for a call center and they've upped the system requirements for their software. I offered to build him a cheap PC that met the requirements, but he's way too nervous about it not working. He's got a good gaming PC, but he much prefers a dedicated machine for work because they require weekly scans that detect software and to check for viruses. The cheaper, the better.

    Thanks for the help!

If you're looking for the absolute cheapest that fit that requirements, you could do something like this:

    CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819106013 $40
    MB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157277 $50
    RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148516 $18
    HD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136771 $50
    CD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827135204 $20
    CASE http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811147010 $50
    OS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116986 $100

Total cost, about $350 after shipping. Does the company cover costs for this since they're fairly restrictive?
