    Looking for A Laptop

I'm looking for a laptop I can take to class (15") but yet be able to game on it when I take it to a friends house. Keep in mind, I have a nice desktop that I would use 90% of the time.

My budget is anywhere up to $1,000, with preference in spending less.

I've come to learn from doing some research that the GT640M and above are pretty damn good graphics cards for laptops.

I'd assume I only need at the every most, an i5 or equivalent. i7 seems just overkill for what I do (Game, internet, music, movies [not all at the same time]).

I was looking at these. Any ideas?

P.S. I love the look of the Asus (last one in the list).

Gaming on laptops is really an afterthought. FPSs won't be that enjoyable. I'd just get an xbox or something if it were me. I'm also in the market for a laptop, but I don't think I'll be playing anything more intensive than Diablo 3.

Yeah, I'm never going to be doing much of intense gaming on it. Probably Warcraft 3 and WoW at the most. I just want it to still be enjoyable.

http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/c...7A&action=init I bought a Lenovo laptop last year, and it is working great. I can run WoW, Diablo 3 and Guild Wars on Medium-High settings and get 40fps easy. Their prices are very reasonable too.

I actually just found an IdeaPad Y580 on NewEgg, seems like an awesome buy. Do you like the look/feel of it?
