Where are you seeing these builds though? They are full of old hardware and we could suggest better ones with newer hardware if you gave us your budget. Would you also be interested in learning how to build computers? It's another way to save a healthy portion of money.

Right so at the moment, its a competition between these two

I wouldn't get the FX-8120 as it has some of the weakest individual cores

I would most definitely rather get a FX-6300

i5-2500k/3570K > FX-6300

Nuff said. Don't consider the AMD system, period. I wouldn't get the 560, either.

Go with the 6870 or 7850. Also, it may be worthwhile to consider the i5-3570K
