Niiiice, though I am more interested in Witcher 3, which, judging by the hidden message will be announced on Feb 5.
    Will play both, of course.

I have been a fan of the Cyberpunk game since I played it the first time in the Marine Corps, that was 1991. OMG

I can't get enough of the trailer, goosebumps really.

But you should watch the other videos talking about the game and the world.

This trailer did exactly what it was meant to do; Showcase the 'Theme' of Cyberpunk, Show you some possible characters (Whether NPC or otherwise), Create BUZZ about the game, and tease the living shit out of you. GG CD Projekt.

The thing I love about CD Projekt RED is that they have this way of making you forget you're even playing a Video Game and you just get completely sucked into the world.

Sure this might be 'Just another shooter' and it might have similar gameplay mechanics like say, Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Unconfirmed but I think we can assume it'll be somewhat similar), but honestly it doesn't even matter. You'll forget you're even using a Keyboard/Controller.

Witcher 2 was just your typical 'Hack n Slash' with a Magical Component but by the end of the first level I wasn't even thinking, "Ok this enemy I need to Cast Quen, Dodge his attacks until I get an opening and then do a power swing" ... I was thinking, "Alright I have to kill this Enemy so I can free the Baroness" and all the Magic and Slashing just happened as natural as sleeping. However in a game like Deus Ex: HR, even when I was playing in 'Full Kill Mode', I would completely forget about the story and world as I was trying to kill all the enemies and then once dead I'd be like, "Oh yea where was I going? Ah yes to find the Boss". Even in The Witcher 1 it was the same, they have this great power over you when you play their games, you're not even playing a Video Game, you're completely involved in a story.

Batman Arkham City had that same feeling as well, so it's not just CDProjekt that can do it, but it's very rare nowadays to have that feeling in a game. So I have complete and utter faith that either the Gameplay will be extremely intriguing, or if it's just 'nothing groundbreaking' it won't even matter in the slightest because you'll be so engaged in the Story and the Universe you won't even think about the Gameplay.

TBH however I'm more excited about The Witcher 3 (Please for the love of everything on this sweet Earth let that be the news on the 5th of Feb), but Cyberpunk 2077 will definitely be kick ass.

My only problem with the cyberpunk pen and paper game was that someone always wanted to play a hacker and in order to integrate a hacker into the group you would have to stop the game for everyone else so the hacker could do something useful for the group and while you are having a one on one game with the hacker player your other players are stacking dice and getting bored out of their skulls. It got to the point that I banned my players from playing hackers and if they wanted a hacker on the team they would have to use an NPC hacker.

Now that being said they say in an interview that they want style to be most important and that style is supposed to be more important than combat mods and I just don't see that happening. There is always going to be someone who figures out the most lethal combination to do the most damage with the least amount of work regardless of a fashion style.

I do hope that they incorporate all the classes and important characters in the game.

Two GMs was the way we use to play Cyberpunk 2020, but then we use to have PVP as well.

Style has nothing to do with "fashion".

Also, it's completely up to the people playing whether they have Style or not. If they min/max everything mathematically, that's great. They've missed the point of Cyberpunk 2020 completely. But hey, that's their prerogative. They don't need to understand.

Also, it's a single player game. Who cares how you play? If the system allows you to keep to the base tenets of Cyberpunk 2020, and you still fail epicly and min/max your character and stare at integers, then who cares? Nobody will know.

I would take Cyberpunk 2077 over pretty much any upcoming game right now, and we don't even know anything about it. CD Projekt Red are just that good.

Des Ex:HR was good, but I really wish CDPR had done it. It might have been a masterpiece. It would be amazing if they developed the follow up.

Yeah I'm pretty excited for this game just because of the genre. I'm so sick of fantasy and elves this is probably my favorite sci-fi setting. I hope it comes on the PS4.

I left the official Cyberpunk 2077 forums after several months of hearing jack from the developers or from Mike (Mike Pondsmith, who at least back then posted on there) even. It appears this "news" wasn't really news, once again.

    Wish they'd give us something.

With Witcher 3 hitting stores soon, I imagine there'll be a lot more coming.
