I mean yeah if you have a 2k+ PC you're probably not worried but this game doesnt look worth buying a PC better than 99% of them on the market just to make the game playable without shooting/driving shuttering.

Picked it up for the ps4 today, was pretty excited. Graphics though.. damn.. Its just nowhere on par with say, a gta 5 or rdr2. Got a game breaking bug the first 5 minutes (not being able to complete an optional part of a quest).

Oh well, might do another playtrough when the ps5 comes (this one can be transmuted to a ps5 game so i heard) and get the 100% fun. And fuck around a bit and test in this one.

I can guarantee you a game that entered full development in 2016, and has constant masked loading segments wasn't made for 2021 hardware.

720p and sub 20 fps in a game that isn't even close to the graphical fidelity of TLOU2 or RDR2 is actually a joke. I'm not kidding when I say there is nothing next gen looking about this game, it looks like a damn ubisoft game which aren't graphical powerhouses. You can clean it up a bit with some settings on PC and the 60+ fps on PS5/XSX but anyone thinking this game is a graphical powerhouse or next gen showcase is kidding themselves. You compare the graphics here to Miles Morales or Demon's Souls and it's actually a joke. Miles Morales is a damn cross gen game to boot.

In fairness I agree with you, they shouldn't have sold a product for those platforms if they couldn't make it perform well. I'm just saying I would never have expected it to, and probably would have waited for reviews to purchase it for older consoles.

You know ray tracing and dlss can be put in any game right? Including very, very old games. Where they all made for 2021 hardware because they got it patched in? LMAO. This has no bearing on the hardware it's designed for. That's a setting genius, not the inner skeleton of the game which was clearly designed for and looks last gen.

Also just for the heads up but the only 3 games to date made with "2020 hardware in mind" let alone "2021 hardware" is Demon's Souls, Godfall and Astro's Playroom. Every other AAA game released to this date has last gen console versions and was thus............. made with 2013 hardware in mind. Funny how that works right?

Shit is like Ark levels of bad and what you would expect on a Switch version. But we got the guy here talking about ray tracing as if the last gen consoles are running it with fucking ray tracing and that's why the performance sucks lmao. The game being a technical mess is also shown by all the bugs, which are present on all platforms because they aren't things PC/PS5/XSX can just brute force away.

Yeah ray tracing does make the game look amazing but yeah....the cost of the computer and technical nouse required is a bit far fetched for your average gamer just waiting to plug in and shoot bad guys

You don't. The only one overestimating here is you. I run the game just fine on mostly high settings. Some are set to ultra. Some to lower. It is what ever settings that the game (or Geforce Experience) picked on start up and it runs fine. My GPU is a gtx 1080 factory overclocked by EVGA and CPU is the r5 3600x. The computer was just built a few months ago but my GPU is old.

The game should be playable on consoles that it was marketed for. There isn't much excuse for most of the performance issues it has faced. But it isn't wrong to call them dated and expect the performance to be lower. Just like if you played the game with the minimum PC specs which lists a GTX 780 which was released in 2013.

The only time it has appeared in game so far is when part of the story you are "naked" and the inventory screen displays it. Even when interacting with a sex worker it kept clothes on and didn't even show it. Though they were naked. You are thinking way to much about a customizable dong for a person who claims to find a vulgar.

All I did was point out how you don't need a top of the line rig, spending 2k+, in order to get good performance from the game. And what do you do? Rant about bobby kotick. There are plenty of issues with the game and I even said that the performance on last gen consoles isn't right.
