laptop automatically turns on

hi guys..!!
I have a HP dv6 notebook, and i updated my system bios recently.
Now i am facing a problem that after i shutdown my laptop, it turns on, on itself after 2-3 mins.
Currently i am putting my laptop in hibernate when needed.
please help guys..:(

i updated with the same bios version which i was using earlier.I have tried popping battery out after i shutdown, but it switches on again after inserting battery.

This is one of the oddest things I've ever heard of. Weird. Anyway, contacting the manufacturer could be a last resort if a second or third BIOS update fails to solve the problem.
