Looking For Gaming Laptop - Below £1000

Unfortunately my 3 year old Alienware mx15 took a turn for the worst due to a vicious attack from a bowl of tomato soup

So right now im looking for a new laptop to game with, while i know desktops are better, i travel alot, and thus laptops are much more useful for me.

Here is what i want in a laptop
    -Best Game performance
    - Mobility (IE 17 inch max)
    - Preferably doesn't run too hot, but this one isn't THAT important..

My Budget is £800-£1000, i can't go over that unfortunately...

And I know you are trying to help, but please don't tell me to build my own laptop, i do not want to, and absolutely nothing will change my mind

    Thanks in Advance.

Tell you to build your own laptop? I know you can buy components, slap 'em together and you've built a PC, but i didn't know you could also build laptops Anyway, maybe this helps? http://www.dell.com/uk/p/alienware-l...n&s=dhs&~ck=mn

Alienware M14x for £899, sounds good to me.

You can look around for the Lenovo Y580. You might find it in that price range with specifications that are slightly better than the Alienware m14x.

This German notebook seller looks promising as well, they sell clevo notebooks.

alienware m14x are KNOWN for overheating, so I wouldnt go for that. Also my m14x gets so hot that it just shuts itself down and get progressively worse & the customer support are of no help at all.

what about this? apparantly its a small desktop, so would be better for travel than a normal desktop... would it be better than any of the laptops?

IDK looking around it seems like you got to spend about 1500$ on a laptop to get a decent one now days.

The specs are pretty good for gaming I haven't heard about one of those and have no dealings with it so I couldn't give you any advise on it thou.

    Luckily £1000 = $1500 or around that

To avoid such attacks I opt for noodle soup, it tends to be chicken.
