WoW official forum mods have a directive to weed out people that chit chat pointless shit, troll, add nothing of importance, use non-child-friendly language, etc. They want the forums to become a place of friendly, attractive, positive, constructive feedback and community. They tried to make that happen by showing everyone's RealID real name to discourage folks from being douchebags. When that didn't play out as intended thanks to player backlash, they took another position: kick out everyone that can't behave like mature individuals.

I get this, but taking the Saturday a few weeks ago where EU players could not log on as an example, there was 25k~ posts on one thread, the vast majority of them immature and most certainly not mature posts. Did they all get perma banned? even temp banned?

WoW Forums are terrible. Got a perma for using the term Blizz(T)ard in a discussion why Mining aggroes mobs.

    Just ignore them.

I don't see much in the way of constructive discussion or even the potential for it here.

    Closing.
