Have you tried turning it off and on?
(Seriously, try it. Might be a button getting stuck while you tabbed out to something else)

I get 10minute queues as DPS in heroics.

I got instant queues as tank when I did it, and I often outDPSed the DPS. I haven't played since Cataclysm though, but it was fun knowing that I could solo all of the Caverns of Time heroics and make my partymates go "fucking OP paladins" to which I'd reply "Thank you for choosing Domo express, where you don't have to do a damn thing except stay out of my way if you want the gear."

Character name was Domokingu.

Low gear level at 90, the only chance the dps had of topping the tank was if he was afk. Dat vengeance.
