There's a difference between ryebread and rugbrød. Even Wikipedia knows that. Ryebread is your sorry excuse for making bread that's not white and unhealthy, rugbrød is the danish glory of daily bread.

My krogers store has a "cultural" aisle but it really is just a bunch of salsa from mexico and some boxes of pocky.

Good bread

The good thing about rye bread is that you don't have to eat that much of it to not be hungry anymore. It's quite heavy for the stomach.

While you might be able to eat as much as you want, when you want, there are quiet a few of us who have trouble even feeding ourselves. If I couldn't buy rye bread I would be hungry all the time.
