I don't know why. It's very much still the Doctor. Amy is a bit trampier than the previous companions, but she's a fiery red-head and I enjoy watching her get under the Doctor's skin.

Also, River Song and her story is awesome.

It just doesn't feel the same to me. Also, the daleks are fucking dead, stop bringing them back!

River song is cool, I like that mini episode thing where the Doctor goes on his last date with her, and they meet doubles of themselves, and both of him gets sad because he knows after that date she is forever trapped in the library
