The power creep runs strong in that game. That creature though isn't as power creepy.

I mostly collect the cards now. Mostly because of the power creep. Also because HEROs don't get as much support these days. I'm hoping they'll return in the future with Vision HEROs or more Masked HEROs.

Shiny cards are good. If the HEROs were popular they will probably visit them again at some point, although Yugioh isn't known for making much sense.
