Mate, I'm 5'1" (154cm) and have been since I was 20 so you are not even close to being short.
If you don't have to strain your neck in a movie theatre, you're not short.

That fabric softener teddy bear...oooh I'm 'a hunt that little bitch down.
I'm 26 and 5'0" (~152cm).
You should all cry more -_-
I'm like 5'9 and i'm 22. Iv'e NEVER ONCE though about my height. I don't want to be a 7 foot giant lol I don't want to be 2 feet taller then my GF
Plus, it doesn't take long to realize civilization and appliances and everything to door height and cupboard and everything is designed around a population much shorter than us tall people. It more often than I would like leads to actual physical pain
I don't fits anywhere...
Waaah OP's a fag. 176 isn't that short.
Things could be worse.
I'm 5'7 (171 cm) 18 in 4 months.
And my dad is 6'3 (190 cm) (Mom 158 cm tho)
+ I live in Sweden. Second tallest country in the world. Sucks ass for me. Now that I had the potential genes and everything.
And I end up with my 5'7 !!!
Infracted.

You know, there are advantages to being short like . . . uh . . . well theres . . . um . . . there are advantages.
Putin khuliyo
the depressed people should be the 185+ in your class, not you. you are fine.
I am 180cm. I stopped growing when I was 17. I think. I am too old to remember
I think I stopped about 16 or 17. I was hoping (and expected/ing) to get taller.
I'm like 181cm. I think I'm still growing but I have no idea.
As long as I don't hit my head on the ceiling when going down stairs, I don't care.
Well....176 is not that dramatic. Leave viking land and you could even be considerd tall. I live in Spain now, and at 182 I am 5 to 10 cm taller then most people I know from here.
Some people have growth spurts up till 22 or so.
I quit growing at 15, and am 6'5" (195cm). So it just varies a lot.
Regardless, not much you can do about whatever height you are, so just roll with it.
Funny, it's the same for me. I'm 172 in a class with about 30 boys and I'm definitely the shortest(or at least shared). Some are above 190 but most are around 180-185. If you're tough and/or funny they probably won't give you a hard time about it though... Never understood people who are "proud" of their height, a need to compensate for other "shortcomings" perhaps?
You must have been a really later bloomer then, I hit puberty when I was 11. Doubt I'll get a late growth spurt like that but 180 wouldn't hurt =)
And door frames, ceilings, and... well you get the idea. At 6'7"(~200 cm) I have to watch for so many things around head level because if I don't I tend to run into them and that tends to hurt. Then of course there's the issue with clothes not being long enough. OP should feel lucky he's "just" 176 cm tall.
