Solution to gear upgrades

gear upgrade with valor was a imo a great and its a shame they took it off in 5.2 as it really helps slower guilds over time. that being said lets see what ideas we the community can come up with, in order to bring it back.

heres mine: make hc gear non upgradeable, and non hc gear upgradeable only by 4 ilvls - at half cost.

Make lfr gear upgradable 9 times , 1k valor each for 1 ilvl icrease each.

Make normal raid gear non enchantable/sockettable.

Make hc gear lose 1ilvl each week till it reaches lfr gear.

The solution is just go back to nerfing raids numerically. Increasing the ilvl of your gear doesn't just nerf the current raid, it also nerfs the next tier before it's even come out. It'd be like having given people an ilvl of 400 before dropping DS. Add to this the fact that the people who have weapons are the ones who are already downing numerous bosses, so it's making it easier for the capable guilds to put stuff on farm, where the guilds struggling to down a boss don't have the gear worth upgrading to progress further.

They have a solution, they will disable and re-enable him. After 2 months he will come back it is simple as that.

That's a terrible idea. Besides the fact that the cost per item level is insanely high (well above just buying the next level of VP gear), losing item levels of your gear...what would even make you think that's a good idea by any means?
