Lucky Charms on Heroic / Elite

Hi everybody,

I wonder how the bonus loot system works when killing the Protectors on Elite, and on overall heroic mode.

If Protector Kaolan is killed last, will the Charm pick 503 items?
And on overall heroic, for example MSV, will the Charm pick from the heroic loot?

... besides the beloved gold, of course

You know, I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard made the Charms to only work on normal mode, that's why I'm here.

Yes and yes.

the charms respond to the Ilvl dropped, so if you kill the protectors on Elite mode, whether heroic or normal, they will choose the coorect Ilvl of distribution, 516 and 503 respectively, this is also the case for normal vs HC items, for instance, on our first spirit kings HC kill, I rolled and got the shield HC, needless to say, I was very happy

Yes, they've fixed most (if not all) of the issues with the extra roll system.


To answer your question - your bonus roll, assuming you win loot, will be based on what difficulty/mode you've just completed.

So yes, elite, heroic, heroic elite can all be gotten from a roll.

I recently got heroic bracers from bladelord heroic via bonus roll.
