Conquest points after the season ends?

Just wondering what's the point for capping conquest points every week now that all my PVP gear have been upgraded and the season is goign to end soon? Will I need the converted honor points for next season?

at a guess the next patch won't come till March. conquest get converted to honor till the 50000 cap after which it gets converted to gold at 35s/point. 10000 x 0.35 = well earned gold =]

i would keep capping for either the gold at the end or to keep buying spirits.
