Pure intellect yeah. As of now: 40k SP and 24% crit.
He wasn't cleaving. I'm using 2 int proc trinkets which increased his damage a lot as well.
IC, I'll go out on a limb and guess he doesn't benefit from the crit bonus from amp trinkets him being a pet and all.
Thok's cleave trinket is making mastery go wild on my protectors testing. w/ 2pc it was 20% of my healing combined (mastery, only at 5300 mastery rating including buff) when I was doing 200k hps. I can't find how else thok's is helping, but it made my mastery go insane.
It could be the cleaved heals have a 1.0 mastery scalar which would be pretty broken I think. If that was the case though, it does make multistrike & thoks better I would say. (over amp trinkets)

Multistrike didn't do anything with mastery, or to say my mastery was bad while using multistrike trinket, swapped MS for thok's and it just went FWOOOOOSH to the skyyy
No one I know was logging, and I didn't know how to log until 5 minutes ago .-.
Anyway, I have skada, but that's it.
Well I mean the only possible way it could influence mastery is by upping the procs, everything else is shown under cleave I think? If each time you duplicated heals with cleave you got 5*mastery% orbs it would explain it.

Not sure, there's still the issue that mastery doesn't spawn on overheal at all. That combined with the fact it can fall through the god damn floor on select fights as well don't make mastery a good choice no matter how much numbers it spews out.

Anyone know of a trinket that has like an on use heal or something with a cooldown, it can't be procced off another heal. I want to see if trinkets will proc mastery.
thok's isn't showing up as "cleave". Or if it is, then I got no proc's from it.
well my skada didn't have any cleave but it had multistrike, so idts.
Maybe they've switched it to be tarecgosa 2.0 then, and the extra procs you're seeing is because the spells are being treated like actual cast spells.
Well I've been switching up which talents/trinkets, but I've settled on chi wave/xuen for dark shaman, thok/prismatic, and logs will be uploaded once testing for this boss ends.
I found xuen to be great on dark shaman I'm a bit worried though about healing that's needed afterwards once foul stream etc starts and you have no xuen having to rely on the basic toolset without chi torpedo for raid healing and the debuffs ticks for a lot lol.
For trinkets I still cant decide :/ I've been switching around with every attempt and I also caught that skada wasnt showing cleave etc but I honestly cant feel anyone outweight the other apart from multistrike being a bit lackluster on the tests i did. I found chi burst to be nice but you're probably right that chi wave is way better. I managed to get some big heals on the tanks with chi burst but I guess it just comes down to timing. Is it a good thing however that our niche of greatest healer dps being the only time were we can actually compete? I mean once the fights took a bit longer the healers definately caught up and surpassed me even though i toned down on the FWing and tried to heal more. (We ran 3 druids, 2 shamans 1 disc and me)
Not sure why you'd use CT on the shamans, seems like an accident waiting to happen.
Well, I'm new to the whole log thing, so you probably can't read them (can't analyze them because I'm not a premium member), but if you can/still want to look at them, here are my logs for dark sham:

Haha so true but then again I used CT fine on Dark Animus crossing melee's. You just have to really pay attention :P However there's a whole lot more shit going on @ dark shaman
edit: I was mostly just playing around with everything though hell I even used RJW onceI'm pretty sure I'll stay away from CT on actual progression unless it really needed.

gnor, if you click your name and go to graph it will always be there regardless of server load
Deffo looks like they've shifted the cleave into a tarecgosa like effect which would explain why you saw so many procs. It doesn't look very consistent at all though which is unfortunate.

Also the change makes it extremely difficult to gauge how effective it is for certain fights, used to be able to look and see how good in a flat number it was now you probably need something like one of those old tarecgosa trackers.
It was consistently making mastery amazing on stack fights (AKA protectors), mastery is simply terrible on dark shaman.
