just switched to 2p + 9145 haste cap and i think i like.
Very powerful RenM + ultra quick chi generation

i didn't lose 2k+ crit to have this cap, but 2k+ spirit ( i changed my gems)
i was afraid the lost of 2k spirit would have been a problem but it's very doable

i'll try to compare a full week of raid in 6145 vs a full week in 9145

I was getting Renewing Mist ticks for 101% more than the base value, that might be kind of crazy.
It's like cataclysm demonology set bonuses all over again

let's just be happy and stop talking about it, so nobody notices :-D
now really, I do assume they did use setboni when doing testing (for patch 5.2) so if we where okey in terms of blizzards testing, we will be undervalued after 2set nerf. (it really is quite huge!)
on the other hand, if they really did do some serious testing, they would have noticed this....

I reported this as a bug on the PTR during testing but nothing was done so I can only assume it's intended. It's insane, basically.

Everything we have, except Uplift and level 30 talents, scale better with 2 crit than 1 int. You should be gemming full crit unless the socket bonus is good or you need the haste gems for breakpoints.

This is the first I'm hearing this o.O. I've heard dong int/crit gems but are you saying you go full crit gems. Currently I'm at the 6k haste breakpoint w/o any haste gems and have been using a combo of spirit and int/crit gems. Can anyone else support this full crit route?

Also with 2pc is it worth gemming haste for the 9k breakpoint or wait until you can simply reforge it

On a side note. Last week doing Megaera and ji'kun I was running into mana issues running ~9.7k spirit and flask/food spirit. I hear you guys saying 8k spirit with int flask/food and no problems. What could I be doing that's wasting mana? Maybe SCK too often?

The only time we started scaling better with crit is when you started stacking insane amounts of haste and sacrificing crit for it. That's all you're seeing, nothing new. If you moved to the 6141 haste cap and dropped crit, then obviously it's value will be higher relative to before due to the lack of it. Increasing every stat except x (crit) means x is now more powerful. That's how stat interactions work, and it's why the new craze over crit is everywhere. I'm still not decided I like crit more than int, since crit is overvalued slightly comparing to int in all simulations, but at the very least it's >very< close. More than likely, crit benefits raw throughput more.

I'm still not a proponent of haste, I haven't seen any logs using it which looked any better than what my crit/6141 haste is doing.

I got this info from Velen's calc awhile back, and it still holds up currently. Getting different results with Reglitch's SS, mainly just from ReM and Env. Velen has ReM ahead by about 20% in favor of crit while Reglitch is showing int ahead by about 5%. Env showing similar discrepancies.

I should have also put an asterix when I said "everything we have." More like "everything we use rotationally." Life Cocoon and Revival both scale better with int obviously. As well hard cast Healing Spheres and Surging Mists scale better with int.

It appears they hotfixed our 2 piece so that the first application of RM no longer counts as a jump. Can someone verify?

Tier-15 Mistweaver 2-piece set bonus should now increase the healing of Renewing Mist by the correct amount.

Expected. We were performing stupid numbers with it. We're still going to be good though. Just not absurdly good.

Not that I'm annoyed about, they're fine fixing that but don't bother with the RPPM trinkets? Piss poor development ethic

Important to note that the set bonus still causes TFT to increase Renewing Mists heals by 15% (as Totaltotemic pointed out it was 32.5%). I presume this is intended.

Your Renewing Mist healed You 0 Nature. (6957 Overhealed)

Your Renewing Mist healed You 0 Nature. (14332 Overhealed) (Critical)

    sure

after my raid last night, i'll push to 10k haste to have the EnvM further breakpoint, because
    1) i really liked having lots of haste
    2) i ranked on almost everyboss ( 5th, 6th, 12th on tortos, jinrokh or horridon if i remember well, and other bad ranking)
