Well, most people think that for you to be manly you can't be cute, so there's that, so they usually only are cute when no one is looking or when they're with the person they love or something.
It's possible that they are cute in public too but I don't know, in this case, I see cute more as being funny, humorous and sarcastic and not necessarily cute like lolis or whatever you watch, I don't know if that makes much sense but I think it's that.
Well, this thread got active all of a sudden.

it's definitely a different kind of cuteness. but i don't think many would consider the 'feminine' cuteness (which is used rather commonly) to be the same as, say, the one of a baby animal.
still, it's not that uncommon for, for example, girls to call a guy they find attractive "cute" - often even when he himself would probably dislike hearing it.

When I see a guy being feminine, most of the times, it's usually just to make fun of others or just to be funny towards a person, sometimes it can be cute, sometimes it isn't, I guess it depends on the person, but yeah, not cute like a baby animal.
Oh yeah. I know that. Girls on my school used to call us "giro", which can be translated to somewhat "cute", and it was annoying sometimes. xd
i wasn't actually talking about "guys being feminine" in particular, it was just an example to show there are different kinds of cuteness.
