    Can barely watch youtube videos.

Hello! I recently got a new computer and I can barely watch "long" youtube videos. If the video is over 2-3 minutes then my computer will buffer it for like 2 minutes (and those 20 min videos aren't even watchable).

I have installed the latest flash player and the computer is about 2 weeks old. It's also a expensive gaming computer so hardware shouldn't be the problem.
I have 100 Mbit internet connnection.

Our computers at school buffers for max 5 seconds, then loads the entire movie so you can jump wherever you want. I have to buffer it again if I want to do that.

    Any help?

Sounds like you have a poor internet connection. Do you have other machines on the same home network that are able to play without buffering?

I only have a shitty computer in another room, so I can't really test it.

I didn't know that 100Mbit was bad though.

My drivers should be up to date.

Like Chrome, it's the best browser you could use imo =3 89 mps is pretty crazy... We barely get 16 mbps >.> Youtube videos still run fine though, so I'd try updating drivers.

Though I'm not exactly sure what you mean with "update your drivers". Could you be more specific?

My graphic card drivers should be up to date.

Run some tests at speedtest.net and pingtest.net

You may pay for 100mbit but you aren't necessarily getting it... and even if you are you might have a terrible quality connection with packet loss and spikey latency. Those 2 websites will answer all such questions for you.

Even if he doesn't get a full 100mbit he should be getting more than enough to watch youtube. I pay for 150 and get over that due to the over provisioning and still have to wait on youtube on many occasions.

When my work computers switched to newer better models, this was happening for me too. I switched to Chrome and it resolved the issue for me.

Just suggesting that you check if you're up to date with your graphics drivers, depending on how long it's been since you last updated.
