    Question TN vs IPS panels for Gaming?

    which monitors will give us a better gaming experience?

    I'm under the impression that IPS have better image quality (colors, blacks, whites, etc) and are generally better quality, however they are also more expensive as well. IPS are usually recommended for people doing graphics work.

    Poking around, it looks like TN panels generally have a faster response time, but I honestly don't even think people can tell the difference between 6ns and 4ns.

    I would not trade my IPS panel for anything. Love it.

    If you play Quake Live or any other very fast paced shooter go for 120Hz TN, otherwise a good IPS panel.
